This one’s very easy.

I’m assuming you have already created a Pinterest profile and that way you have access to all the goodies Pinterest provides you with.

If you organised your Pinterest profile into boards, and you have a particular board where you pin the best stuff you can find, then you can embed it into your website.

Here we’ll talk about embedding the board into the WordPress site, and into the sidebar to the right. You can see such a board I embedded from my profile onto this website here, and it shows across the whole site.

1. Go to your Pinterest profile and click “Make a widget”:

2. Pinterest will provide you right away with a code to embed your most recent pins. Click “Learn more” to embed a particular board.

3. Click on the “Board” square as shown in the image, and paste the address of the board which you want to embed.

In my case I have a “Pinterest Tips” board which I’d like to embed, so I just click on it in my Pinterest profile and copy its address from the address bar. I pasted it here into the relevant field as shown by the arrow.

You can see the preview of the embedded board just below all the required fields. Keep the “Square” selected in the “Size” field.

4. Scroll down to view the preview of the embedded board and the code.

If you like the preview, then copy the code (both snippets of code).

5. Go back to your WordPress dashboard and click “Widgets”.

6. In the “Widgets” window add another “HTML”or “Text” widget to the sidebar at the position where you want it.

It’s important to add the widget which allows you to add HTML code. It might be called differently depending on the theme you’re using. Juts add the widget for HTML code and you’ll be fine.

Now paste the code from Pinterest and click “Save”.

6. Check the the sidebar on your posts – you should now have the embedded Pinterest board on your sidebar across the whole site!

And that’s it – you’ve embedded your Pinterest board! πŸ™‚
